The 3,200 square foot Friedman Center at Cornell University’s Appel Commons has been completely redesigned from floor to ceiling and now boasts one of the nation’s first Escape Octagons. Jen Gudaz, the Director of Cornell Fitness Centers (CFC) and Associate Director of Recreational Services, worked with our own Matt Bogumil to turn this once general population fitness center into a dedicated group instructional space. Rubber black and red Ultra Tile flooring with a strip of green turf and freshly painted walls create a versatile and visual appealing backdrop for some of the most engaging equipment in the industry.
