You may have seen the Assault AirRunner (a non-motorized treadmill) and AirBike Classic in use at the CrossFit Games Regionals last week — shout out to our Master Trainer, Kim Hamilton, who was selected to judge this year’s competitors! We are proud to share that as a partner of Precor, we are now an authorized distributor of Assault Fitness products! Let’s take a below-the-surface look at these intense fitness machines.
Assault AirRunner
‘Like running on air, but with a powerful amount of punch.’
Capable of burning up to 30% more calories than the average motorized treadmill, this non-motorized tread is optimal for interval training (HIIT for those in the know). The AirRunner is built for commercial durability and is designed to withstand up to 150,000 hard-earned miles run. Plus, with no need to adjust the belt tension or replace the running deck, this treadmill beats out the competition in overall ease of maintenance.
Assault AirBike Classic
‘Individualized and infinite adjustments for an unlimited workout.’
The AirBike Classic is the best fan bike available — that is, until its big brother, the AirBike Elite, starts arriving in facilities later this fall. Mechanically, this machine is a thing of beauty. The resistance automatically ramps up as you increase your push, pull, and pedal speed, providing a workout perfectly tailored to each exerciser. The crisp, modern LCD screen allows users to choose from high-intensity intervals, or set target distance or energy-output goals. The steel frame with industrial powder coating along with sealed cartridge bearings on all moving parts makes this bike top of its class in durability and ease of maintenance.
