The Vision
Bremen High School imagined more than a basic athletic training room, they envisioned an environment charged with Blue Devil energy. Every element needed to honor the athletes who would own it daily, from strength zones to open training lanes to custom-branded Blue Devil power racks.
Having witnessed Advantage transform a nearby school’s fitness center, Bremen understood what was possible: a space designed around the people who use it, where flow, function, and identity coverage. The result? A strength and conditioning facility that feels less like a room, and more like a launchpad.

That vision took shape through close collaboration between Advantage rep Daren Burns and Bremen’s project leaders – Head Football Coach Davis Russell, Strength Coach Nick Foldes, and Director of Facilities, Maintenance & Operations Russell Cooper – ensuring the facility served athletes, programs and the campus as a whole.
The Design Challenge
Bremen and Advantage set out to design a performance center that could keep pace with daily life on campus. With multiple teams training simultaneously and PE classes moving through, the center had to handle high traffic, intense use, and zero room for disruption.
They wanted a premium feel without sacrificing practicality, supporting shared use, smooth circulation, and uninterrupted training. Every square foot was designed to work harder, guiding athletes through their sessions without congestion or compromise.

Each design choice that our team made was deliberate. Every element—from the Power Lift racks to the functional flooring, free weights, and custom branding—was curated to work together seamlessly, supporting high-volume training, smooth flow, and maximum athlete performance.

Movement shaped the layout, allowing lifts, rotations, and transitions to unfold effortlessly, while each station and piece of equipment supports intense, daily training across all teams.
Each zone specifically configured to spark energy, encourage collaboration, and reinforce a culture of pride and performance.
